Pros

When I worked here it was flexible scheduling, it was nice, just worked out with my clinic partner. It is a great job to learn the role of the nurse practitioner. They paid well in comparison to competitors.

Cons

Busy, the front line with the patients. Demands for perfect patient satisfaction and high volume. Also don't count on your manager giving you a reference later on (the reason I gave it a 3 star). No job security, they can drop you without notice. Weekends and long hours. Strict on what patients you can see there. No growth opportunities.

Pros

I can not write 20 words about the pros of this company because there simply aren't enough. Unfortunately the business model used in CVS is to drain the Store Manager of everything and move on to a new one. A very parasitic relationship between the CVS field management and store level management.

Cons

Extremely high expectations with very little payroll or gratitude. As a salaried member of management you are expected to cover any shifts that are needed, stay late or come in early when necessary (which is excessive). You are expected to attend a meeting once a month, which does not come out of your store payroll budget, it is entirely free to the company. Also, your salaried "45 hours" is calculated with the hourly employees payroll. You absolutely will work more than 45 hours consistently. Average hours per week for a store manager is around 60 hours. You are also expected to work holidays with no extra pay, as well as at the very least 2 weekends a month, and you will also have to work at least 2 closing shifts a week. The workload to available manpower ratio is completely unbalanced which will most definitely effect you work to home life balance. The company mission is to "help people on their path to better health". This mission does not include employees. Do NOT work for this company!

Pros

Absolutely NONE at all. Disgusting slave-drivers.

Cons

They force you to work countless hours off the clock. They routine redline based on age and sex, uusually pre-emptively just before rertirment. The supervisors heartless, brainless corporate automatrons.
