Pros

- Some team members were nice to work with - started out with positive reinforcement from management

Cons

- Working over the entire Christmas/New Years holiday - Expect you to work long hours without market salary compensation - Team members were unwilling to show new people how to do things - Not enough staff to handle the workload

Pros

You get to help actuall individuals face to face with what I feel are some of, if not the, best programs and tools to accomplish and coordinate this, sometimes using unique positions to have unique realisations of actual impacts.

Cons

In short not enough time to do all the required tasks anymore, let alone have time to help a customer that needs an explanation longer than two minutes. And forget it if youre not already experienced and fast. In longer terms, for the past several years CVS has been making changes that benefit them more and more with adding more work onto the staff whike reducing hours and keeping pay raises below inflation. This is quite obvious to all employees and has a hugely negative effect on morale and ownership. Also the focus on metrics should aloow for zero or much smaller bonuses for middle and higher management. At the store level we know there are large bonuses given for better metrics, but we're lucky if we see even a few dollars or a few hundred of dollars depending on the job position. This once again redu ed morale and ownership. This also puts a huge focus on making the numbers look good with neither understanding, caring, nor ethics as who cares if the stock is correct as long as the metrics for it are good then i dont have to worry about being fired next month. Causes worrying about job position to superseed worry about work ethics and efficiency.
