Pros
Salaries were decent, as of a few years ago, but have taken a hit since the economic downturn.
Cons
I cannot imagine a company that takes advantage of their managers more than CVS. When an ass't mgr leaves the company or is promoted, that position may not be filled for 2-4 months. This leaves managers working 30,60,90 or more days straight, w/out a day off! 70-90 hours/wk. CVS has made a conscious decision to use managers to try to save on payroll. This company, literally, has no concern for the personal lives of their employees.
