Pros

Involved in a diverse culture of people (customers mostly) and improved my personal communication skills.

Cons

There were many disgruntled customers only if you couldn't find what they wanted right away. Management rarely agreed with when I could have off and seemed to assume that work was more important than school.

Pros

Challenging job which enables you to learn all aspects of store operations thoroughly. Store managers learn to multi task effectively while also learning how to lead your store teams and develop their abilities.

Cons

Four straight years of hours cuts (which began with CVS's aquisition of Caremark ) while increasing the workload at the same time. Most stores simply can not complete the workload and adequately serve the needs of the customer. The current field management team, put into place two years ago, treats store level management, pharmacists, and crew members with contempt and seeks any opportunity to terminate as many people as possible in order to instill fear .
