Pros
As a pharmacy student it is great pay compared to other places. If you have a good store manager, pharmacist, and techs, even if things do get chaotic they can run smooth. I admire CVS's workflow system and does help to speed the process along.
Cons
The pressure to sign early as a CVS pharmacist before November of your senior year can be extremely stressful. Beware to make any notion that you do not plan to work for the company or you might be kissing your job goodbye. I am considering a residency and get questioned by my supervisor what good that would do for me and what I plan to do after that residency. Also the computer system and inventory ordering is back in the stoneages. The age we leave in, we should be ordering everything online so we can see real-time whether our wholesaler has something instock instead of having to go through the automated phone system that takes forever.
