Your join a company - you leave a manager or the manager leaves you
Pros
Caremark has a lot of great people doing great things. The training for new associates in lower positions is great. You get a lot of support.
Cons
If you are an experienced professional, be careful and don't join Caremark in a position that you believe is going to open new learning opportunities while taking advantage of your experiences. My experience was that if you don't have a really good base already in the area you are hired into you can be left adrift. Even though my hiring manager knew my background during the interview, I didn't misrepresent anything. In the end, working on a team where the average time with Caremark (and it 's predecessors) was more than 20 years, I was unable to gain the knowledge expected by those working with our team.
