I was at CXT Software when the acquisition happened, and honestly? The first few months were rough. A lot of uncertainty, new processes to learn, different culture to get used to — it's a lot to take in all at once. But if you can push through that adjustment period, there's actually a lot to like about being part of a bigger organization like Ionic. Things are more structured now, the tools are better, and there's more room to grow than there ever was before.

My team is awesome — super collaborative, supportive, and fun to work with. Leadership actually listens and gives space to bring new ideas to the table. You get to own your projects and see the impact fast. Also, flexibility is a big perk — remote setup works great, and the vibe is pretty chill even when things get busy.
