They don't value their custodians.

Pros

Weekends and holidays off. Used to be for the benefits but they have been grossly horrible the last 10 years.

Cons

The pay. There's no bonuses, or raises (unless they are county/state wide approved). They treat the custodians like the "step child" in the system. Custodians are the first to be blamed and the last to be thanked. They bully their custodians. Do not focus on people with alternate/different personalities. They hire outside the system for promotions instead of hiring within. But its just not Cabarrus County it's every count in North Carolina.
