      Cabela's is a fantastic company to work for, they encourage growth and have a great work/family balance.

      Pros

      With a good attitude and hard work the opportunities for growth are amazing. They take care of their employees and go above and beyond to be a family friendly employer. The founders are still a presence in the company. With one of the brothers still showing up to work every day, parking at the far end of the lot(to save thee closer spaces for everyone else) and walking around HQ all of the time.

      Cons

      During peak seasons work can get very intense with constantly changing focuses. You need to be ready and willing to switch up at the drop of a hat.

      Pros

      Emplyees are extreamly over worked and poorly paid. You get what you pay for, employees that are unreliable and execute poorly because they feel unapreciated.

      Cons

      Older staff is being pushed away because the pay is the lowest. Raises are insignificant and very hard to get. Benefits are not great either. Weekends and long hours are expected. Short staffed and overworked no recognition. Managers play favorite.
