Cabela's, a wonderful place to have social and professional interaction with general public.
Pros
I gained experience in Consumer Products, Cst. Svc, and responsibility for consumer's credit by processing private information after informing them of the process. The store is well located, has three ranges of product and has deli, RV stop, and something for everyone. I really genuinely liked my co-workers and think it is a very nice store with charisma.
Cons
There is a disconnect in this particular store. The Managers make this place miserable. It is run like a mini-prison (not that I'd know), but it is very punishing and isolating. "Us and Them" Plastic cards are not always stocked in printer due to MOD is "busy". HUGE turnover. They have let so many people go that had been there for many years. Most left with despair. Even nice Management left. Many upsets. They lead through chaos. I was part time, however, worked so many different hours, that I could not work anywhere else. Always worked weekends and evenings, then turn around and work a whole day. No personal time but to eat and sleep and nobody eats dinner at 10 pm or 11 pm.
