      Good work but groups being cut

      Pros

      Nice to be able to work with the latest PD tools and beta's. Mostly good peers and managers.

      Cons

      Consolidation is resulting in some PD groups going away so job security may not be optimal. Lots of folks with decades of experience and close to retirement. May not be the best place if you're at the beginning of your career.

      Great technology but can be better

      Pros

      Extremely smart colleagues. Open to using the most modern and up to date software tools, platforms and languages. Very helpful teammates . Great CEO

      Cons

      Middle level management extensively micro manages and is not open to constructive feedback from employees. Refrains from promoting deserving internal candidates to the upper management positions - instead prefers pulling in people from competitors.

      Pros

      1. Can work on advanced technologies. 2. Met many talented people in this field. 3. Benefits are good.

      Cons

      1. Hostile environment. 2. Retaliation - when I reported hostile environment issues, the high-level management wanted to move to other projects. 3. Not a female-friendly place to work, depending on teams, as it's still a very men-dominant company. Sometimes others (not necessarily manager) might say something that's not intended, but female employees might not be comfortable with, which is hostile/toxic. I experienced this in 2 out of 3 teams throughout 5 years.
