      Was better in the past in IT.

      Pros

      Company is doing well and leadership is strong. The company has bounced back well under new leadership since low points in 2008. They are poised to retain and grow market share. They are focussing on quality which is important for longer term success.

      Cons

      A major restructuring in IT which likely was needed has taken place. The downside is many leading employees have been let go and many remaining strong ones are looking elsewhere. The company culture is rather conservative and is aging. Creativity and new ways of thinking are not the norm. Old school ways of thinking. Minimal embrace of social media.
