Pros

Perks if you work in entertainment

Cons

No employee protections and no help from HR. I was told by HR they don’t need a reason to fire you in this company. So you can be fired even though you have no disciplinary on record and no attendance infractions. Bad and toxic leadership. Bad benefits and even worse pay. Known for being one of the lowest paying companies on the Vegas Strip.

Pros

Pro is that things are changing there is new management so maybe a change of the lower level managers might make things better

Cons

- Huge work load, i’ve watched pit 10,1,and 3 by myself on a full spread. Thats over 15 games.. on top i had a jackpot in pit 3, high roller waiting for marker in pit 10, and a beef in pit 1, and NOBODY came to help, 6-8 games normal - No Pay Transparency - If you ask a co worker how much they make, They will accuse you of trying to unionize or bring you in the office. Basically you find out that friends get paid more, Time, Experience, and how many games you have don’t matter -Management doesn’t respect current workforce, they constantly have shortage because word has gotten out how bad it is here. They do things like pay new people more then people who have been there for years. Wage suppression - No Vacation / Family Life, Most employers are going to 4 day work weeks, and flex time off. Most time off requests get denied, You’re going to miss a-lot of special occasions - Poor management, They are top heavy, every other person you talk to is a “shift” but they never step in to help out or go on a computer when it gets overwhelming, even when watching 3 pits by yourself -Pay, You’re giving up your dignity for the shareholders benefit. They pay $200, the atlantic city minimum to watch 6-15 games, after 5 years i made a whopping $207, inflation during the same time period 23% -No back up, If it’s a high roller don't expect to get much help when being mistreated by a “big” player.. i was called a bald *&$k i told management the response “he’s like that with everyone plus thats why we put you here because you can handle it” or maybe because they don't know how to handle it Smoking- On top of the industry bottom low pay, No backup, Denied PTO, $7 raise for 5 years to $207 and being treated like you’re disposable instead of indispensable you have the smoke, there are shifts that go around scanning and locking up the no smoking signs to prevent them being put on games.. So you lose your health to -Zero sum, by working here you lose your health to smoke, you’re dignity to mistreatment and overwork, your financial wellbeing by getting paid the city minimum $200 a day, your home life gets ruined by getting pto denied

Pros

The pay is decent, and its union, Uniforms, and shift meal provided.

Cons

Revolving door management. Managers currently avoid employees at all costs
