Listen Cafua management not perfect. But I can see that they are starting to make progress. HR seems to be much more engaged in holding our upper ops leaders accountable. The focus on growth from within is a nice change. I’ve grown from crew member to RM. stable company Growth opportunities
Cons
It’s very hard to find crew members when we are not very competitive in pay. This means us managers have to work more hours to cover our staffing shortage. We are definitely making progress in hiring. Our bonus plan could be much more aggressive. Insurance is expensive When certain members of corporate come to visit we have to put on such a show that’s far from reality. I wish they would make more unannounced visits. For example when are COO came to visit last month we all had to stay and wait to tell him how grateful we are for him and for Cafua. This cost me to work 14 hours just so I can boost this man’s ego. Well I am grateful to work at Cafua but I shouldn’t feel forced to stay to tell him. If he was that interested he would visit more and during our normal working hours.
