Pros
The pros are very numerous. Small town environment. Friendly people. Wonderful kids. Endless opportunities for activities. Almost free living conditions. Three day weekends. Beautiful campus. Ample support from administration. Benefits are fantastic. Time off is generous. Budgets are reasonable. The campus is totally self contained, schools, medical, sports, etc.
Cons
This is being very picky. None of these things are that important to me, just things that would be nice or that I notice in others. If you don't want to spend time with kids and actually do things with them, you will hate this. I love it, so it isn't a con for me. It would be nice to have new appliances in my apartment, and I wish I could paint the cabinets in there, but that is pretty much the only con for me except that I am from a metro area with more going on than Amarillo has, but I don't really mind that that much.
