HORRIBLE SAFETY ISSUES

Pros

Pay is top in the region and hours are plentiful. Good bonuses every month and gift program.

Cons

$$ more important than employees safety and anywhere they can skip a few bucks by going around the rules they do it. I have watched employee after employee for years get hurt by things that were reported and ignored by the management. Mechanics get told no don’t replace that tell them sorry it’s too much money on the budget while and employee gets beat up in the cab driving because they don’t want to make the cab safe for $20 part. They interrupt the 10 hour rule for sleep off turn regularly. I myself have had 13 instances once I started counting them where I was off the clock late in the evening an example would be a 9:45 off time and they are calling me at 2:30 in the morning asking where I am at waking me up and then wanting to know how soon until I can come in like bro look at the time cards! You can clearly see I can’t come In yet. You tell them your not right to drive or sick and they tel you it’s your job. 3 plants and all three had the same issues tells me it’s coming from the top. Not spent another day unsafe and I feel for everyone that was hurt working there but I couldn’t do it anymore no more risk.

Pros

-Huge company but the leadership actually cares about their employees. The CEO remembers me and knows my name even though he has thousands of employees. -They promote from within whenever possible. Lots of opportunities for advancement -Good people who work hard (mostly)

Cons

-Old fashioned when it comes to things like working from home and other accommodations that are becoming common in modern workplaces. Even during the pandemic they didn't let people work from home unless it was required by law. -Sometimes reluctant to adopt newer, more technologically advanced methods of doing things. "This is the way we've always done it" -Pay could be better
