Best thing I did in my life joining the ccc. Opens the door to a wide variety of careers if your looking to getting into wildland firefighting Id suggest giving it a try.

Cons

Not really any cons , if you don't like being away from your family you might not enjoy it as much but you get to see a lot of cool places up and down California
