      Calix's mission is purpose drive - I enjoy working for a company that is improving technology in rural areas to enable communities to thrive. The culture at Calix is great. The benefits are good and the flexibility to work remotely is a plus. There are scheduled "recharge" and "productivity" days to focus on personal development, volunteer or take time off.

      Cons

      The pay is less than my prior companies.

      Calix has a clear mission for the world combined with a true challenger mindset for everything they do. That means a fast-paced and highly collaborative work environment that is personally rewarding. Working from anywhere is a HUGE benefit that attracts amazing talent, no matter where they are.

      Cons

      The company is growing so fast, it can be hard to keep up with new teams, processes and initiatives. But this is a welcomed challenge.
