      Pros

      A very open and collaborative culture. The relationships between product development, sales and marketing is very positive. In my 25+ years in marketing, I have never seen this so high. It's allows us to focus on executing new campaigns in market rather that dealing with internal conflicts. It's inspiring.

      Cons

      As a fast growing company with big goals, we are still working on finding the right balance between work and education/training to improve our skills. So much opportunity and limited time. But this is clearly on the radar to solve based on our most recent cultural survey.

Strong demand for our platforms along with rapid expansion of our customer base continues to demonstrate the progress we made towards our mission as stated in our Q2 Earnings letter to our stakeholders.       Calix is indeed a disruptor and we certainly view this as a very good thing. We are breaking new ground and this requires a workforce that thrives on new opportunities and change. With an expanding pipeline of opportunities spanning service providers of every type, we believe we are well placed to continue building Calix … an all platform company … that is positioned in front of the largest wave of disruption our industry has experienced. With that said, we will continue to fine tune our processes to create more predictability in our day to day responsibilities as a collective workforce.
