Pros

Strong senior leadership with a bold vision Customer-focused and driven to enact change Big enough to have significant resources and small enough to be nimble Great team members from diverse backgrounds with a truly collaborative ethos Calix went to a remote-first model 3 years before the pandemic and it shows -- there's a maturity to digital, work from anywhere, remote collaboration that can only come from a company who chose to follow that model rather than being forced into it.

Cons

Ambitions occasionally overextend capabilities IT processes (mainly tied to the Microsoft world) hinder collaboration

Pros

Good overall culture, people care in general. Co-workers are willing to help. I haven't heard anyone say: "That's not my job".

Cons

The top of the leadership is all sales, all the time. Would be nice to have a balanced and truthful acknowledgement of reality when things are not 100% rosy, not just lip service to that fact.
