      Pros

      Great co-workers in the business unit I worked in. People are usually more than willing to assist and provide insights into their areas of expertise. Management can be exceptionally supportive for some employees. Pay and benefits are very good.

      Cons

      Politics can be detrimental to your career here. If you end up on the outs it might take a while to realize it - often you get terminated before you know it is that bad. When new management comes in they replace most high level positions with their previous networks.

      Pros

      Good pay and employee benefits, healthcare and paid time off.

      Cons

      Lowest morale of any place I've ever worked. Low work / life balance. Lowest number of employees per MW of gencos and it shows. Budget gets cut more and more each year so required maintenance gets postponed year after year. Not enough people to perform required work. Managers dont speak up at Houston meetings for fear of losing their jobs.
