Pros
Calpine's work culture is very flat which makes it easy to talk to everyone on the team. You are surrounded by intelligent individuals with a lot of experience in the industry. There are also pretty good benefits.
Cons
The new hire orientation is not very well structured. There is a lot of improvements that need to be made for new hires integration. We aren't informed about all the company benefits and instead have to learn about them on our own or through someone who has been working at the company longer.
