Pros

Better than average compensation(better than most in a number of positions) and benefits(these are not as great as other firms) Work Life Balance is not so bad! Sometimes of the year can be very stressful and time away from your loved ones. Coffee

Cons

No room for advancement or growth unless they fire people that don't fit their "culture", which is quite toxic. No Strategic Direction in an industry that transitioned(ing) to Solar, Wind, Battery, etc. Top Level Management needs to be changed out. Good Ole Boys network. The company's management in various business units seem to only hire and promote white males and eliminate those that try to change that structure. Bureaucratic and a lot of paper pushers/process management police(email forwarders, email management, process management police). People run the organization but management believes in process not people. A lot of the processes don't work and have workarounds which can lead to you being terminated. The Sales Organizations seem like a Used Car Dealership selling prospective customers on the dealer lot.

Pros

This is the first job that i had where the 15min breaks are actually scheduled in. They work with you and train you to be the best you can be rather than writing you up for mistakes. The company also feeds us on training days where we would go on a training meeting when it is our lunch time.

Cons

Its a call center for an energy company, so you will get those upset customers that are rude and want an answer immediately. as long as you are able to handle them and provide them the information they are looking for its not hard at all but alot of patience is needed. adherence is one thing we dont have much control over, for example lunch is at 12 but right before it hits 12 you get a call that last 10 min, youll be then out of adherence for the time you were supposed to go to lunch and that effects you (adherence is for scheduling along with performance)
