      Calpine Continues to Impress and Exceed My Expectations

      Pros

      Teamwork - the company is filled with extremely smart and talented people that are focused on helping you and the company succeed. All hands on deck - the company does not subscribe to a rigid hierarchy. Upper-level management are also in the trenches daily, working with sales reps, the pricing desk, and all the other departments to make sure processes are running smoothly and opportunities are being realized.

      Company is very supportive and shows its employees how much they appreciate your hard work. They provide all the tools you need to be successful right from day 1. Allow the employees to maintain a work life balance.

      Cons

      Not having come to work at Calpine many years ago. I think Calpine should buy more utility plants in the Southeast.
