      Pros

      Caltech is a great community of people who love and support science. People are very friendly and willing to help. I worked in a lab the year after I graduated from there with my undergraduate degree and had fun.

      Cons

      I can't really think of any cons for working here. As an undergrad, I noticed some sexism. If you're interacting with students, they're often very stressed out.

      Caltech is a very inspiring and intense place to work as a postdoc. It is small in terms of numbers of faculty and students but packs a big research punch.

      Cons

      Caltech has a very intense work culture, which is simultaneously inspiring and intimidating. Each individual postdoc's experience will be strongly affected by their advisor's work style and management abilities.
