      Not too many pros other than we can work from home

      Cons

      Caltech is an institution that does not care about its employees. They give you the minimum salary, terrible health benefits, and no room for upward mobility. Management is made up of liars and are only concerned with themselves. They lie to you about funding to keep you along and when you they run out, they leave you out to dry. DON'T trust this place! This place has taught me to never trust people EVER again!

      Pros

      The benefits package is very good. People are passionate about the scientific research they're doing and have a personal mission to advance knowledge around the world. Relaxed atmosphere usually.

      Cons

      Bureaucracy can be annoying when working with government money or programs. No good commuter options from parts of the area besides cars.
