Pros

Cambly is a great place to work. Even if you don't have a teaching degree, you can still work here. It's all about carrying on a conversation. They have great support and help. It is important to be a self-starter and be able to work independently. You work as an independent contractor and as such, set the hours you want to work. Excellent work-life balance and great as a side job.

Cons

Sometimes, there are not a lot of students online and it depends on your timezone but usually, the work is steady. Do not expect to make a house payment with this work. This is an excellent side job though.

Pros

I've been working with Cambly for more than a now and I enjoy it a lot. The pay is good, The management is polite and very helpful, the money is always on time, get to make new friends and enjoy teaching at the same time. Students are great, most of them, and its just a great environment to work in. I am very happy to be a part of Cambly and hope to be here for many years.

Cons

Maybe on the tech part where it checks the computers speed

Pros

I enjoy the flexibility of the hours. The students I have encountered have been fantastic and I have been lucky enough to have a couple that have stayed with me. I make use of my own learning materials. Students have chosen from the library for reading which I have found to be fairly adequate.

Cons

It would appear that currently there are too many tutors and not enough students.
