Pros
Good overall company. Departments run by people who are , for the most part, friendly to their co-workers and subordinates.
Cons
The company is privately owned and the primary owner is very, hands-on, to the point of micromanaging all aspects of the business. If he gets any idea, it needs to be implemented, even if it goes against all best practices and needs to be rolled back when it shows to be a mistake. He approves purchases to underlings because they're friends, but then rails because of cost overruns. Department Heads provide very little cover to their reports from upper management. No bonus structure in place. Owners idea of a company bonus was a lavish Holiday party every year, rather than a bonus check. Also, raises were also non-existent.
