      Most of the managers I worked for treat the employees as a true asset to the company.

      It's oilfield, so very susceptible to layoffs.

      Pros

      Advancement if you work hard and do what's required. Good benefits and working environment. My managers and supervisors were crucial to my advancement through the ranks.

      Cons

      Some time life and work balance is not there. You get pressure to ensure the job is completed for month, quarter and year end, even if the customer doesn't want to have it shipped early. Meeting or exceeding the commuted numbers at all costs at times.
