Pros

- Management is pretty hands on and takes suggestions. - Unlike class I's, there is no hiding in the weeds to catch employees in the act. Instead of quick to fire people. They are quick to retrain. - You have set work schedules.

Cons

- Health Insurance is very expensive and terrible coverage. - Pay could be a little better. But $23 a hour to start (with experience) isn't terrible. Given that you are working a set schedule. - They lack the proper tools to do the job. Examples: no air hose gaskets, fuses, red flags, etc.

Pros

Management is pretty good. Flexible regarding time off and holidays

Cons

For the amount of work we do the pay is terrible. The operator is always answering the crew phone, texts, calls, and emails all are very distracting. For a company who preaches " safety culture" the are safety meetings if any kind. Half the time we don't know if we are comming or going.
