company is fairly big as it has been in the industry for quite a while. In addition, the pay is competitive when compared to other companies of equal size.

Cons

The management does not know what it is doing. When i was working there back in 2012, there was an explosion that blew off a part of the plant I was working in. It was kind of scary.

I am always eager on learning from working different jobs threw out the CANFOR pulp mill maintenance turnarounds. Safe working environment. I hope very much to be employed for CANFOR full time. There is unlimited opportunity. CFP is well positioned to capitalize on the lumber super cycle on the horizon.

Cons

Advancement requires a lot of years and is less focused on merit. The AB oil sands have really hurt trade competitiveness.
