      Pros

      People at Canfor often say that it's like a family and it's true. It has a culture like nowhere else I have worked. Lots of opportunity and ability to get involved in exciting company-changing projects, career progression and development programs. If you are willing to jump in and get stuff done, you will be successful (and maybe even have fun) at Canfor.

      Cons

      Like any company that is changing with the times (or ahead of the times) there is a lot of work to be done. I know the company is working on creating more diversity in the workforce and there is work still to be done at Canfor and across the industry.

      nothing realy great, just money, Union support fighting for equality

      Its a company for family to raise and grow, worst management ever to work with, lot of favouritism at work place. nothing realy good. too may things bad to mention. Use and throw management attitude.

      Backwards thinking in a lot of areas. No drive to evolve and improve, the old guys dont want to change because 'they did a great job' and no one can do better. Bullying is a very common practice at all levels.
