I worked at Canfor several years ago. I got a lot of opportunities to work in multiple areas of the business and lead one of their major system implementations. It is a great company and has been the foundation that helped me excel in my career. I would definitely recommend a career at Canfor to anyone. My experience has been quite rewarding and it is one of the many reasons that helped me get to where I am today.

There are always challenges with any big corporations but overall a solid company with great people.

Some good people that have good intentions

Cons

Backwards thinking in a lot of areas. No drive to evolve and improve, the old guys dont want to change because 'they did a great job' and no one can do better. Bullying is a very common practice at all levels.
