Pros

Good Work-Life balance. Ok benefits,

Cons

Companies often skimp on budgeting for their IT technology, and when serious issues arise, they believe that throwing millions at the problem will solve everything. This poor decision-making from upper management has resulted in recurring challenges for the company over the past decade. Additionally, data retention practices lack rigor, and transparency is noticeably absent. Cheap.....

Pros

- Industry leader in healthcare design - Exposure to wide variety of projects (healthcare, science & technology, education, commercial) - Extremely flexible work environment, managers are more than willing to accommodate any and all hybrid/remote working environments. - Coworkers are very supportive and willing to teach and help. Very receptive to workload concerns. - Trades make an effort to integrate in all aspects of the company. Hard to feel isolated. - Learn a lot about other trades, making coordination easier.

Cons

- Pay is lower than competition for entry and mid-level. - Promotion structure is limiting. Even if you're overperforming, you must meet their HR structure career ladder to advance, nothing is merit based. - No straight overtime pay for salaried employees. Holiday bonuses are given out but not substantial. - Hours can be long, expectation to work late nights and weekends when significant deadlines are upcoming. Can sometimes feel like an endless workday. - Other trades shortcomings can sometimes be felt by other teams. Not necessarily a con but to note - Single Firm-Multi Office environment, meaning each office has a different culture.
