Pros

The firm provides great benefits, works on challenging and innovative projects, is focused on supporting the community through programs such as Open Hand Studio, and has been taking time to listen to employees regarding their overall satisfaction with the firm. The people are great to work with and there is an opportunity to collaborate not only within the office, but across multiple offices. I appreciate that the firm is willing to support reimbursement for professional registration.

Cons

Work-Life balance can be a challenge due to project work and deadlines. Consistent communication across multiple offices can be difficult at times.

People are willing to help each other from different offices. There are opportunities to work with colleagues across the country. CannonDesign Academy - the in-house educational program offers interesting seminars that are recognized by the AIA and the GBCI. Young professionals are given key roles in the project teams.

Cons

Lack of organization at times. Some teams work long hours while some are more reasonable. Certain teams are not properly staffed.
