      big name, big brand, with some good ideas for growth

      Cons

      poor company for hard work recognition. work life balance is poor, company is out of date and losses are sure to come. poor senior managers

      Pros

      Great brand name, good products, good people.

      Cons

      Canon has lost it's way some what trying to change from a box shifter to a service provider. So much change and process makes doing business internally different, there are so many projects on the go that there is no money for the business. Comm packages have been continually reduced and targets up by 40% in the last 6 months. Canon doesn't quite know where it sits in the market place. No true global support infrastructure limits it's ability to mix with the likes of Xerox and HP and KM have over taken them. Lots of senior, experienced sales people have left in the wake of the Oce integration. No true Alliance proposition.

      Pros

      Stable and reliable and ok to work for if one does nto have pressing ambitions. It has a good set of managers and people willing to assist if you are proactive. Very international though more dutch people are getting hired nowadays.

      Cons

      Too slow too react to changes and the salary is poor. Camera market is in trouble so the company is being puched to evolve to the new landscape. Lets see how this goes.
