A good opportunity to learn business operations, inner workings, and structure of a large corporation
Cons
- Little to no opportunity for upward mobility - Pay is not great, but it's to be expected from a primarily hardware company that will have high overhead in a dying industry. - Stuck in the past, but not surprising since this is a Japanese company. Japan has been stagnant for three decades and Canon is certainly no exception. - I've never worked with a more incompetent HR department that approaches their work from a place of absolute hubris before.
