Cons
Managers rank you based on their opinion of you. Your raise, bonuses and chances for promotion are based almost entirely on whether your manager likes you or not. You can be working very efficiently on more difficult projects but still get rated lower than someone who's working on an easy project with a nice manager. Also, no internet access or smartphones allowed inside the office.
