Pros

A paycheck, and most US employees are ok to work with

Cons

The company goes to great length to promote themselves as progressive, diverse, and a model corporate citizen, but it is actually run from Tokyo. US employees are treated as second class citizens Had major problems with integrity of management. Very sneaky and deceptive - hides behind their lawyers instead of doing the right thing. Would rate them zero stars if possible.

Pros

Great on-site cafeteria and friendly atmosphere. They claim to have wonderful medical and dental benefits for their full-time members, but from what I saw, it took a large portion of their salary to afford them. Environemntally friendly companies are hard to come by, so the effort they put into their small carbon footprint is incredible.

Cons

As a contract member, you are not included in many of the benefits offered at this company, like holiday parties. Pay is also well under what local standards would dictate. They also hire based on experience, but do not pay you accordingly. Expect entry-level pay, regardess of your knowledge and experience, however with out those things, you will likely not get the job. Technologically speaking, this company is behind the times. Computers are old, drives on the servers are bogged down with extra nonsense, and many procedures are still paper-based.

Pros

They teach true efficiency and manufacturing principles.

Cons

The opportunities for advancement can sometimes be skewed, or so it seems. Usually, in my many experiences the posting of new job openings is just a formality. The primary candidate has already been somewhat determined.
