Pros

Gain mortgage experience to use elsewhere

Cons

Pay is subpar at best, hours are long, very stressful, work load is far too much, favoritism and nepotism run this company. They are only worried about the bottom line here. Training was terrible and prepares you for next to nothing.

Pros

Very good mission statement. Easy to get behind the purpose of the company because they truly care about saving people money and serving the community. Coworkers are all very nice

Cons

Pay is mediocre. It's growing so fast (due to fall in interest rates) that adequate training is lacking.

Pros

The company continues to evolve and is devoting more time and resources to improve the customer experience, continuing to put their needs above all else. Given CapCenter's smaller size there is an opportunity to build out your role and take ownership of projects even if they don't fall directly under your usual area of responsibility. The company has a great reputation in local markets and it is always rewarding to meet past customers throughout the city who have used CapCenter multiple times in the last 20 years.

Cons

The smaller size of the firm means there is no gym, cafeteria, etc. onsite, but given the proximity of the Richmond office to everything in Innsbrook and Short Pump it's not a big issue.
