Very male dominated in the dev area. Fairly common for the industry.
"Coaching" system is more about how to move up in consulting and deal with customers and management, not much in the way of help in learning dev techniques beyond the lunch and learns (which are great).
"Onboarding" consisted of telling me my benefits, giving me a brief run down about the company, an introduction to the partners and then a laptop. For someone who had never worked in a agile dev environment, nor on a project anywhere near this size, it was a bit jarring.
But to be clear, both the onboarding and the lack of clear Development career path are both being fixed this month hopefully, so fingers crossed. (Will update after if needed)
