Pay from 2021

Pros

None, really. Signed the contract in 2021 and the pay stayed the same all the way to the end of 2023.

Cons

Pay is way too low for the amount of work that you might or might not be doing. You’re practically working two parallel jobs - one for the client and one for the Capco’s internal community. Under constant threat of being cut if you’re not on a project - the cuts never seemed to end.

You mention that you signed your contract in 2021, however depending on your start date and subject to performance, any compensation increases would have taken place in line with our annual performance review cycle. We have a fair and consistent approach to compensation, ensuring that individuals are rewarded for their contribution to the business and based on their performance against the competency framework. Colleagues have the option to participate in ‘Community’ work at Capco, which enables them to broaden their networks, develop new skills and interests and fully embrace the Capco culture. We reward those who participate and go above and beyond, however the main focus of performance assessments is always on performance in an individual’s core role. The nature of consulting means that colleagues will sometimes spend time on the bench in between projects and we have a structured process for placing individuals in their next role and helping them to identify ways to undertake activities which add value to the business and build skills in the interim.
