Pros

Opportunities: From both community projects and main project work, you'll have the opportunity to work towards bunch of different tools/tech/certs. They'll support learning opportunities, but it will need to immediately help the business. People: Really nice people and a lot of them are very committed and hard working. WLB: While not great, I put it in pro because they are aware that the WLB is not great, but they have measures in place to try and limit lots of overtime.

Cons

Senior Management: MP's, Directors, and most Partners are great. It appears they have replaced the Co-CEO's which is great, but prior they brought on Co-CEO's who had some of the worst corporate communication delivery regarding RTO message. In an all-hands meeting, one of the Co-CEO's kept mentioning how "great looking our executive team is", directing his comments towards a female representative - this made the meeting incredibly uncomfortable. The market has also been struggling and going through layoffs, and when a question was asked if additional layoffs were to be expected, they answered "we have to keep our bench clean" - there was no direct/head-on or straightforward answer that a leader should provide. One of the major reasons I decided to leave. Pay: Pay is good, but much lower than most competitors, and it's a similar workload. Culture: Not that different from consulting orgs either; practices of hiring/firing/letting are arguably worse here, between layoffs and the alarmingly high level of furloughs. Growth: Incredibly difficult to get promoted. The framework is very clear, but even when an employee outperforms the framework, they are not performed. Lots of CO's were completing senior level work and above for multiple years never were promoted.

Pros

Snacks and drinks are provided at the office, but most of the time you work at clients site. Lot of party and gathering

Cons

Maybe not for anyone who prefers to keep to themselves or someone with social anxiety.

Pros

Very interesting project portfolio with exciting opportunities. Most interesting project I have ever done been through Capco. Capco doesn't interfere in your client relationship and project, unless there are issues. Great continues learning opportunity. Budget for many certifications. Flexible on many things. Original corporate culture. You can find coaches with impressive experience. Capco has many interesting senior talents that you might be lucky to work with. Overall a good salary Quite transparent about career progression.

Cons

Very individualistic environment, despite Capco's team building attempts. People your level are very competitive and often perceive you as competition. Certain projects/clients requires your engagement for many hours a day, organisations prefer to push external resources rather than affect their own employees work-live balance. To much importance given to community activities, which are impossible to follow up if you are spending 10h a day on your core delivery. Therefore your colleagues working on simple and less intensive projects have more time to dedicate to community, get visibility and get promoted. Recruiters should be better prepared, Prone to make emotional decisions based on perception biases, they don't fully understand/valuate candidates experience .Don't worry once you pass the first interview, the second stage is with well prepared experts, this will be your opportunity to be prised for your knowledge. Many people I know been contacted with poorly structure offers which weren't matching their experience.
