Pros

I joined the company 3 months ago and my experience so far has been great. You have: - access to very approachable senior management - training to develop your consulting skills - several social events (senior management engagement events, bar socials, a trip to Puerto Rico for all of NA!, team building events, clubs (skiing, tennis, etc) - opportunities to engage in non-client initiatives. (volunteering, start-ups, internal initiatives, etc.) - very entrepreneurial spirit (room to evolve and have input on how the company evolves) - A very charismatic CEO who is personable and easy to talk to. Built the company and has been there from day one. It is his passion. - Dedicated senior leaders who are looking to make the company a better place. Constant opportunities to provide feedback.

Cons

There is a large variety of projects at Capco so it is important to express your interests and aim for a project you enjoy. (some projects will be less interesting than others depending on individual interests) There are strategy project, change sourcing, implementation, and yes staff aug(like any other consulting firm). The company has been growing extremely fast and improving every month. With all the growth and interest in the company HR/HC is having difficulty keeping pace. Expanding HR/HC is planned for 2015 and hopefully it will help. It can be difficult to get away from the client to get involved in the Capco side of work which is where you really experience the great culture Capco has. It is important to get involved but this can be difficult with client responsibilities.

Pros

In this work hard, play hard culture, Capco brought the team from all of North America on a 3-night off-site to Puerto Rico to celebrate 2014 and to energize for 2015. What a great way to recharge, to bond with colleagues & leaders and to be inspired to prepare for the year ahead! The content and speakers at the off-site were world class and, at times, even mind-blowing. Capco has grown significantly in the past year and the dynamic leaders have a clear vision and path on how to grow even more in 2015.

Cons

Pro and con -- Capco is very fast-paced!

Pros

Capco has levels, like any company, but those are rarely seen on project teams where everyone has the chance to demonstrate their skills or learn new ones by jumping in - partners work along side all other levels - creates a supportive environment for expanding your talents. The people I work with are professional and fun - a sense of humor, adventure and innovation makes every day interesting. This is encouraged at all levels -- just returned from Puerto Rico - where the entire North American team spent 3 days working together on important projects such as cardboard boat designing, building and racing - meeting fellow Capcoites I have not yet had the pleasure of working on a project with all the while being encouraged to take some risks, get involved and expand my skills and career.

Cons

If you want to sit back and have others manage your career or give you a manual of procedures on how to consult or approach a project - Capco is not for you.
