Pros

The people truly are Capco's best asset. You collaborate with smart individuals who enjoy working with each other. Everyone seems to be on the same page. The projects and clients are interesting, and all within financial services. The interview process turned around quickly and the stories of the great culture and chance to own your career from the recruiter were verified by the interviewers and seen during my time here. You get great access to senior management/partners and everyone is very genuine to help each other out. There's always something going on whether to increase our knowledge or to meet other consultants, all whilst having fun. You need to check out the ilab, it's very cool and a great example of how Capco are investing in being the best in the business.

Cons

- If you want to coast then this is not the place for you. You will be expected to work hard (and at times work late but this is no different with any other consultancy) but you will be challenged and rewarded as such. - NA is growing rapidly, especially in the NY area, so far senior management are doing a good job managing the process and ensuring nothing slips through the gaps, I'm hopeful that they'll keep it up.

Pros

- Scrappy, entrepreneurial consulting firm - Smart, likeable people - Deep expertise in capital markets and banking industries - Leadership team is accessible - If you want to fix something, you're empowered to do it.

Cons

- Like most consulting firms, it keeps trying to find revenue sources other than consulting, because that's how you gain a predictable revenue stream - Doesn't have the infrastructure of a big consulting firm (which is also a plus) - Low brand recognition
