Pros

Capital is one of those places big enough to provide the perks of a large company and still small enough to feel like you can personally make a difference and be heard. Yard jobs do require a certain intensity, but, hard work is recognized and rewarded by management. And working on weekends is rare, and voluntary.

Cons

As a construction related industry, the hours can get pretty long in the summer. The pace of the day can get discouraging at times. Though, in fairness, this is not unique to Capital. Anyone who has worked at a place that has a "season" will be aware of that.

Pros

Family comes first and when you put in the effort you can reap the benefits. Also insurance and 401k options available. The company has things in place to help ensure the physical health and mental health of their employees.

Cons

It’s a lumber business! If you don’t know what I mean then you’ve never done it.
