      Pros

      Pay is on the higher end of the spectrum.

      Cons

      No work life balance even though you will hear that a lot. You are compared against everyone within the same organization as you even if they are doing different jobs. So at whatever level you are be prepared to be rated against everyone at that level and you could find yourself at the bottom based on your job functions and then Capital One loves to put you on a personal improvement plan (PIP) and once you are on that basically you will be let go because they make it impossible to get off it.

      Work is interesting and capital one always seems to try new things.

      Cons

      Stack ranking is awful here. Even if you meet your goals established from mid year reviews, by the time year end comes leadership will move the goal post and say you need to do more. Theyre constantly comparing you against your peers.

      Work life balance is great. Salary is competitive and on the high-end in this area for a business analytics role.

      Cons

      The culture becomes cutthroat and finger-pointing for survival. Politics is everywhere, especially when you are middle-level management and above.
