Impactful work* caveat being how you might define impact at the end of the day. Autonomy and lack of micromanaging.
Cons
Low compensation for work. Really feels like you're being taken advantage of for wanting to do impactful work. They actually teach other fund managers in emerging markets that they can take advantage of young recent graduates that are looking for impactful work by paying them poorly in return for feeling like they are making a difference in the world.
