Pros

I have been employed at CaptivateIQ for 5 months now, and it has hands down been my best employment experience thus far in my 10-year career. Everyone here is excited about what the Company is trying to accomplish, and people are eager to help everyone else out. The leadership are refreshingly humble, which is surprising considering what they've built. Along that vein, I'd say that the culture here is very lacking in drama overall, and the people are more interested in actually doing things right than they are in being perceived as having all the answers. It's amazing being a part of something where everyone is truly rowing in the same direction with equal vigor and enthusiasm. Opportunities to make meaningful contributions in almost every vertical within the Company have abounded, and I don't see that changing in the Company's future. I'm incredibly excited about my future here, and I would definitely recommend this as a place to work.

Cons

The onboarding was very unstructured and unorganized, which is understandable given the age of the Company. However, I think that the Company has quite a lot of work ahead to get this up to snuff, along with formalizing and polishing its existing processes. This is definitely an area for improvement and every employee currently has the opportunity to make a big impact in this area.

Pros

I could not have found a better place to work. It is so exciting to not only be developing a product makes people's lives better but also to be working alongside incredibly bright and hardworking individuals. Every member of the team is a superstar, and that is not an exaggeration. CaptivateIQ also has the best management I have had the chance to work with, their collective IQ and EQ are second to none. Great office perks on top of competitive compensation and benefits make working here a no-brainer.

Cons

Not enough seltzer water in the snack deliveries.

Pros

Working at CaptivateIQ has been an amazing experience thus far. The company has done a great job of hiring the best talent across all departments while rapidly expanding the headcount. The leaders have demonstrated a high level of expertise and help to promote a culture that instills hard work and transparency across the board. There is an abundantly clear product-to-market fit and I count myself as lucky to be able to sell this solution. Tons of opportunity for growth and development as the company is just beginning to take off. The company also offers catered lunch 3 times a week, transportation allowance, unlimited PTO (that actually gets approved :) ), 401k, and the best medical benefits. Would highly recommend joining this company in any capacity.

Cons

The hours can be long at times, but that comes with the territory of working at a start up. With that said, management is very respectful of work-life balance and never puts undue stress on anyone at the company.
