Thank you for your feedback. We regret that you were disappointed with our company and we respectfully disagree with your assessment. We continually promote career growth in all of our employees, encouraging every individual to fulfill their potential and contribute to CaptiveAire in a variety of meaningful ways. Due to our flat management structure, we do not have typical corporate ladder career jumps, but instead allow employees to grow dynamically within their roles as the company grows and changes. We are continuously aiming to improve and innovate at all levels, including in our software group. Disruptive innovation is a principle that is highly regarded by our CEO. We regret that you did not benefit from these principles during your time here, but we wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Extremely fast-paced work environment. I've never been around such motivated people in my life. Decisions are made quickly, there is no red-tape to cut through. Senior management is on the same track in this company: set high goals, work hard, and work efficiently. All of the "higher-ups" work the hardest. Everyone here is extremely caring not only about the company but also their fellow employees. I am thankful every day I work here. Pay is great, they recognize hard work with raises and good bonuses. CEO is extremely humble, caring, and diligent man. Intimidating at first, but he wants the best for each of his employees. The people here are great: those who aren't a good fit are weeded out quickly (either because of laziness or poor performance) which means that the employees who remain are the cream of the crop. This company is best for those who strive to maintain a humble spirit, integrity, and a growth mindset.

Cons

Sometimes the work/life balance can be off: this is illustrated in the amount of PDOs/year. This is not something that is impossible to overcome. Other than that, no complaints.

Pros

Too many pros to list all of them. Pay is good, bonuses are good, lots of job satisfaction, everyday is different, really enjoy my colleagues, enjoy the work, enjoy the flexibility.

Cons

Paid Time Off rate is really slow. Vacation can feel discouraged sometimes. And in a lot of positions you can never really take off. We work during vacations and weekends all the time to stay caught up. Raises appear to be strictly based on performance with no annual cost of living raises. This is a bummer when you see how well the company is doing but they won’t give a cost of living raise. Sometimes not meeting a goal has no reflection on job performance. Starting to see a lot more corporate speak and policies. Please don’t punish everyone in an effort to keep a few in line. This kind of mentality can kill morale overnight. I’ve seen it happen.
